Introduction
The Mkuze Falls Private game Reserve is located along the northern bank of the Mkuze River , in the heart of KwaZulu Natal.

Local Area Information
Part of the Greater St Lucia wetland ecosystem that extends to the base of the Lebombo mountains. The is one of the most ecologically diverse regions in Africa.

Accommodation
Overlooking the Mkuze Waterfall, the Mkuze Falls Lodge features eight luxuriously appointed Thatched Chalets and one Safari Suite, accommodating eighteen guests in utmost comfort and style. Private plunge-pools and an outside shower provide a wild but intimate touch alongside the luxury of the air-conditioned bedroom. The waterfall, unique ecosystems and virgin wilderness compliment the personal service and comfort enjoyed in this remote but easily accessible hide-away.

The Mkuze Falls Tented Lodge is for an adventurous experience in five "Hemingway" style East African Tents, each overlooking the Mkuze River . The elegance of the tented design is reminiscent of a bygone era, beckoned by the freestanding Victorian bath in the en suite bathroom. The tented lodge provides a true African adventure with utmost comfort and style. 

Facilities
The air-conditioned conference room seats twelve delegates; the ideal place for team and spirit building conferences close to the heart of Africa.

To add to the full relaxation at both lodges, Mkuze Falls offers the facility of a massage therapist. On request this can be enjoyed anytime of the day in the privacy of your own room.

Activities
Pre-dinner drinks around the fire on the bar deck provide both a perfect ending to exhilarating game viewing and a subtle start to the nocturnal sounds and rhythms the African night. Enjoy two game drives daily and walks on request in this Private Big Five Reserve. 

Children's Policy
Children of all ages are welcome at the the tented camp.
Children of 12 years and older only at the Falls Lodge.

Unique Features
The unique ecosystems of riverine, wetland, lowveld bushveld and montane grassland provide the diversity and large quantity of bird and animal species. The reserve is home to the big five, cheetah, hippo and an impressive variety of other wildlife, including more than 340 species of birds.

Low Season

SINGLE SUPPLEMENT

A 50% single supplement is charged.

RATES INCLUDE:

Three superb meals daily, High Tea, Game Drive beverages & snacks, 
Room Service Meals, Morning and Evening Game Drives.

RATES EXCLUDE:

Telephone calls, E-mail facilities, Curio Shop purchases, Mini bar, Main bar,
Massages, Laundry service, transport to and from the Lodges

Subject to change without prior notice, except for confirmed bookings

PAYMENTS

25% Charge upon receipt of confirmation of booking. The balance to be settled 30 days prior to arrival at the Lodge. The company reserves the right to sell accommodation held on a provisional basis that is not confirmed within this 30-day period.

The Lodge reserves the right to retain deposits received, variations at the sole
discretion of management.
