Local Area Information
Situated on the scenic banks of the perennial Sand River, Inyati is set in 65000 hectares of the most diverse and beautiful bushveld, in one of the world's largest and most prestigious private conservancies - the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, adjacent to the Kruger National Park.

Facilities
Inyati also boasts some superb facilities for you to enjoy outside the safari times. These include the curio shop, a small but well-equipped gymnasium, and a walk-in wine cellar well stocked with an excellent selection of South African wines as well as sundowner cruises on our cruise boat "The Tekwane"
Activities
Inyati means buffalo in Shangaan which is the language of the local peoples, and Inyati is home to this powerful, indomitable breed, along with the rest of the Big 5 - elephant, rhino, lion and leopard. These majestic creatures, together with the great variety of other mammal, bird and reptile species found within the reserve, ensure that your safari experience at Inyati will be an outstanding and unforgettable one.
Children's Policy
Children under the age of 8 years are not permitted at Inyati Private Game Reserve save in special
circumstances.
We reserve the right to provide separate facilities for children.
Children of 8 or 9 are not permitted on game drives, and pay 50% of the double tariff.
Children older than 10 pay the full double tariff.
Only children of 15 years and older may participate in foot safaris.
Unique Features
In 1996, Inyati embarked on a Habitat Management Programme to ensure that the land (and therefore it's inhabitants) are affected as little as possible by the impact of our human presence in an otherwise pristine environment. In consultation with top ecologists, natural clearings have been re-established, alien and invading plant species encroachment has been effectively halted, and erosion successfully combated.

Terms and Conditions
- The above tariffs include breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea, coffee, game drives & sundowners, foot safaris and accommodation.
- The double tariff is per person sharing.
- The third guest sharing in a triple accommodation will pay the double tariff.
- Tariffs include 14% VAT.
- Tariffs exclude drinks, curios, laundry, telephone calls and all transfers.
- Road transfers to and from KMI airport are charged at R430.00 per person one way. (Transfer time is 2 hours each way)Single R800.00. Rate valid till 30.09.07
- Guests entering the Sabi Sand Wildtuin at Newington Gate are required to pay an entrance fee of approx. R70.00 per vehicle.
- Transfers to/from Newington Gate are presently charged at R70.00 per person return.
