Introduction
Chitwa Chitwa Private Game Lodges are situated in the northern sector of the world famous Sabi Sand Game Reserve. By road; approximately six and a half-hours from Johannesburg . Direct fly-in packages from Johannesburg International Airport , or air transfer pick-ups from KMIA or Hoedspruit airports to the lodges, can be arranged.
The décor is characterized by a seamless blend of authentic African design with eclectic European elegance. Individually appointed standard rooms or luxury suites, overlooking a dam are designed with you in mind, offering a comfortable, crisp elegance that contrasts perfectly with the rugged African bush outside.

The focal point of Chitwa Chitwa Game Lodge is the stylish, central bar and pool area, incorporating an extensive wine cellar. Lunch is served next to the pool under the thatched lapa, while dinner is relished in the open-air boma or our elegant dining room.
Activities
Game drives through the bush in open-topped Land Rovers in search of the Big 5, are guided by our staff whose passion for the area is infectious.
Children's Policy
Children of all ages can only be accommodated at Chitwa Chitwa Game Lodge.
Children aged eight years and under will pay 50% of the "per person, per night,
sharing" rate in a standard room.
There are two standard family rooms at Chitwa Chitwa Game Lodge.
Safari Lodge is unable to accommodate triple sharing rooms.
It is up to the Rangers discretion if children will be allowed on game drives.

Terms and Conditions
- The rates include accommodation, three meals per day, two game drives per day in an open safari vehicle, a bush walk daily, all teas / coffees.
- The above Rack Rates are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR), include VAT @ 14 %, and are subject to change without notice.
- All extras (beverages, laundry, telephone and fax calls, curios and items of a personal nature) are to be settled directly on departure.
- Check in time at Chitwa Chiwa is 13h00. Check out time is 10h00
- The rates do not include any road or air transfers to and from the lodge
All airport taxes and applicable Sabi Sand entrance fees (R 70 in cash per vehicle) are for the clients own account
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Chitwa Chitwa Lodges reserve the right to charge the following cancellation fee should a confirmed reservation be cancelled within the following period:
- 25 % cancellation fee if cancelled 45 days and less prior to arrival
- 50 % cancellation fee if cancelled 30 days and less prior to arrival
100 % cancellation fee if cancelled 14 days and less prior to arrival or no show
- A detailed copy of the general terms and conditions and cancellation fees are available on request.
