Introduction
At Akeru Safari Lodge, situated in the pristine wilderness of the Timbavati Nature Reserve, which forms part of the greater Kruger National Park ecosystem, you will find a refuge - a place of exquisite beauty and peace.
The camp accommodates just sixteen guests, and is ideal for hosting small gatherings of family, friends, mini brain storming sessions and staff incentives.

Accommodation
Each of the eight thatched chalets is en-suite with both shower and bath. The rooms offer a combination of family suites and doubles and twins to satisfy everyone's specific requirements. Lanterns for light, eco-friendly battery powered for fans, and gas geysers for hot water, ensure an original luxurious rustic bush experience. Four-poster beds, white linen and draped mosquito nets ensure absolute romance.
Facilities
The central area includes a lounge with fireplace, a bar, a sparkling swimming pool, an elevated loft area, an inside-outside dining room area and an open-air boma.
Activities
Akeru offers you a unique wilderness destination. Our professional armed rangers and trackers conduct all game drives in pursuit of Africa 's big five and other game, birds and reptiles. Daily walks are encouraged, thus ensuring that the more fascinating aspects of our fauna and flora are not overlooked.
